It has the population, the organisation and the economic muscle. So is there anything to stop the world’s fastest emerging country from becoming a footballing superpower too?

Alan Smith:

China has a distinct history of introducing sports to children and creating top class athletes. If they creat a proper top class program for footballers then i definatly think they could be a force to be recond with in future World Cups. As a population their view on sport is diciplined and hard working, two key things that young players need to be succesfull.
