Alex Blower
Yaya Sanogo was born on January 27th 1993 in Massy, France and began his youth career with CMS Pantin at the age of just seven.
He was eventually picked up by Ligue 1 giants Auxerre in 2010 where he has played 19 games and scored ten goals to date. At present, Sanogo represents France at international level, playing for the under-16, under-17, under-19 and under-21 sides.
He is believed to have signed a pre-contract agreement with Arsenal with the player moving to London on a four-year deal.
Yaya Sanogo’s parents are of Ivorian and Malian descent, meaning he could eventually play for either the Ivory Coast or Mali.
