Wayne Rooney could be set to swap Manchester and the Premier League for Paris and the riches of Ligue 1, if a report in the Times is to be believed.
According to a report from James Ducker, Paris Saint Germain are set to lodge a £40 million bid with Manchester United for Rooney.
The move comes as Rooney enters the final two years of his lucrative contract with the Reds and following a loss of form that has coincided with the arrival of Robin Van Persie from rivals Arsenal.
The report also indicates that Manchester United may consider a bid for the star.
