According to reports, Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure has called on Tevez to apologise – while also welcoming him back to the squad.
“Carlos is a fantastic player and I hope he will continue with us because we need him,” he said.
“For me, it is no problem because he is a great player and everybody likes him. He knows what he has to say to the boss and the rest of the players.”
“Me and the rest of the players will be happy if he comes back,” he added.
