What did the apology Carlos Tevez gave Manchester City say?

Hans Amsel:

Carlos Tevez’s statement read: “I wish to apologise sincerely and unreservedly to everybody I have let down and to whom my actions over the last few months have caused offence. My wish is to concentrate on playing football for Manchester City.”

Those few, simple words could have a profound impact on Manchester City’s season, however. The fact that he used the word unreservedly and the phrase ‘let down’ – and also withdrew his appeal against fines issued during his protracted ‘strike’ – means the club can now draw a line in the sand and end the lengthy war of words between the Argentine and his manager Roberto Mancini.

Tevez will, it is believed, return to the first team squad almost immediately, giving City a boost as they begin the run in to the Premiership title, aiming to wrest the trophy from their nearest and fiercest rivals, Manchester City.
