Will Neymar move to the Premier League?

Description:

Brazilian youngster Neymar has been strongly linked with a move to Real Madrid but could the striker move to the Premier League instead?

Alice Ross:

Yeah.. but as of no brazil football player Neymar extended his contract at Santos and said that he will play for Brazil in the world cup 2014 but after that he might really transfer.. If he transfer to big clubs he will be become more famous..

Simon Harris:

According to the Barcelona press and Neymar’s own expressions of adoration for Messi and Puyol (whose shirts he received after the FIFA Club World Cup Final), Neymar appears close to FC Barcelona.

He has a contract with Santos until 2014 but given his close friendship with Dani Alves and that Pep Guardiola appears to have tacitly given his approval, I expect to see more speculation surrounding the young Brazilian when the transfer jamboree opens this summer.

Jack Beresford:

Neymar could yet move to the Premier League with Chelsea. At present, there are a number of rumours suggesting that Neymar has signed a pre-contract agreement with Real Madird.

However, speaking this Sunday after his club side Santos defeat Corinthians, Neymar suggested no deal is yet done for a move to Europe. Speaking to the press, Neymar said ‘There is no truth in those rumours. I am a Santos player and I will stay here for the club’s centenary.”

“I have been sold around 30 times already,” the Brazilian jokingly added.

The rumours had initially focused on the visit of Real Madrid’s head of medical services Carlos Diez to Sao Paolo. Many pundits and journalists have suggested that Diez was there to give Neymar a medical but the youngster has dismissed such rumours.

‘I went to the hospital to solve a personal problem. The rumours are just speculation. There is no deal at all,’

Neymar’s agent Wagner Ribeiro meanwhile has suggested that the player is opening to any big offer, with AC Milan revealed as one of the stars suitors.

‘AC Milan was interested, but they said they could not pay €45million,’ he noted.

With this in mind, Chelsea may well have a chance of landing the star provided they can stump up the huge €45million transfer fee.
