Why did Manchester City report Porto fans for racist abuse?

Manchester City reported Porto fans for racist abuse after striker Mario Balotelli suffered at the hands of what the club described as “monkey chanting” from fans of the Portuguese team.

The incident occurred during Manchester City’s 2-1 away win over Porto in the first round of their Europa League tie on Thursday February 16th.

How much money would Porto be fined by UEFA if UEFA pleads them guilty for their fans alleged racist abuse towards striker Mario Balotelli?

Porto could be fine 20,000 euros under UEFA’s disciplinary code if the club are found guilty of racist abuse towards Mario Balotelli.

Porto could also be ordered to play one or more of their matches behind closed doors if found guilty of the offence.
